This piece is made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.

This stone, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
The majority of these rock are basalt.

We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.

I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.

Each piece is unique.
This necklace has a light grey, triangle shaped bezel set rock and a piece of Fordite that I cut and polished, bezel
set above it.
It has a heavy rolo chain with a lobster clasp.

If you don’t know what Fordite it, it’s car paint from an automotive factory. It builds up on the walls and equipment, and every so often they have to chisel it off. Somehow it becomes available for people to cut and polish into “stones”

This sale is for this item pictured.

The chain measures approx 18 inches and the pendant is about 1 inches wide and 2 inches long.
The chain length could be changed if need be.
